Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Densilo desktop application, account service and website (the "Service"), operated by the Densilo Team ("Densilo", "we"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
Densilo is a desktop app that compresses the context your AI tools send to model providers. The compression runs locally on your machine. Densilo is not a model provider; you are responsible for your own agreement with, and payment to, whichever model provider you use.
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email to create an account and keep your account key confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account and key. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the account service, and no reselling of the Service without our written agreement.
4. Plans, billing, and taxes
During early access, the Service optimizes your requests while your account holds free credit, as described under Early access below. Without credit, your tools keep working and connect to your model provider directly, without optimization.
Every new account includes a 7-day free trial of the full Service, starting at sign-in, with no payment details required. After the trial, the Service optimizes your requests while your account holds a paid plan or pay-as-you-go credit, as described on our pricing page. Plans (Plus, Pro and Max) are monthly subscriptions that include a monthly allowance of optimized tokens. A plan renews automatically at the start of each billing month and your payment method is charged the plan price until you cancel. Each month's allowance resets at renewal and unused tokens do not roll over. Pay-as-you-go credit is sold in prepaid top-ups and does not expire. "Optimized tokens" means new input tokens our software processes on your behalf, as metered by the desktop application; context served from your model provider's prompt cache and output tokens are not counted.
Prices are in US dollars, or in Indian rupees when you pay with a card issued in India. Payments are processed by our payment processor, Razorpay. Prices shown are what you pay.
Early access
While Densilo is in early access, accounts receive free credit of optimized tokens instead of a free trial, and you can request more credit from your account page; we decide each request at our discretion. Free credit has no cash value, cannot be exchanged, transferred or refunded, and we may limit or end it with notice. No payment is taken during early access. Once paid plans are offered, the plan, billing and refund terms in these terms apply to anything you buy.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a plan at any time from your account page or by emailing support@densilo.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; your plan stays active until the end of the billing month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again. If a renewal payment fails, the plan ends at the end of the paid month; to keep optimizing, subscribe again or top up with pay-as-you-go credit. 6. Your content
You retain all rights to your prompts, code, and data. Because compression runs locally, we do not receive that content and claim no rights over it. See our Privacy Policy.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the hosted components available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The local proxy is designed to keep functioning if our servers are temporarily unreachable.
8. Warranties and liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Changes and termination
We may update the Service and these terms; material changes are reflected by the date above. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
