How billing works
What counts as a token?
An optimized token is a new input token that Densilo processes on its way to the model. Context your provider serves from its prompt cache is free: in a coding session that is most of what gets resent every turn, and your provider already charges 90% less for it. Output tokens are never counted.
What happens when my free tokens run out?
Nothing stops: your agent keeps running straight to the model, as it would without Densilo. Request 20M more from your console. Clear cases are approved straight away; otherwise we review the request, usually within a day, and email you.
Will I be charged?
No. Nothing is charged during early access and no card is taken. Paid plans will come later; you would pay only if you choose one.
What happens when a plan runs out?
Nothing stops. If your month's tokens are used up, your agent keeps running straight to the model, as it would without Densilo, until your next month starts, you upgrade, or you top up with pay-as-you-go credit. If a renewal payment fails, the plan ends at the end of the month you paid for; subscribe again or top up to keep optimizing. Your agent keeps working either way.
Can I switch or cancel?
Upgrades start straight away with the new plan's full month of tokens, and we refund the unused part of your old plan: the smaller of the time or the tokens you had left. Downgrades start at your next renewal. Cancel any time from your account page; your plan stays active until the end of the month you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
Do unused tokens roll over?
Plan tokens reset at each monthly renewal and do not roll over. Pay-as-you-go credit never expires.
Can I get a refund?
Yes: a full refund within 7 days of a payment if you've used less than 10% of that month's tokens, and unused pay-as-you-go credit is refundable. Refund policy.
